BurdwanBardhaman Minikit Rice is one of the most popular and widely consumed non-basmati rice varieties across West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Sourced from the fertile Bardhaman region (often called the "Rice Bowl of Bengal"), this rice is highly favored for commercial wholesale and large families.

Grain Profile: Minikit is a slender, medium-to-long white grain. It is not a broken grain (unlike Dubar); it is a whole grain known for its sleek shape and uniform size.

Cooking Quality: It is a parboiled (Siddha) rice variety. When cooked, it becomes soft, easy to digest, and does not get sticky. It holds its shape perfectly and has excellent water absorption.

Best Used For: It is the ultimate daily-wear staple rice. It is ideal for regular home meals, commercial messes, hotels, and canteens, pairing perfectly with traditional dals, sabzi, and fish curries.
